My Story - Victoria
Born and raised in Hong Kong with years of 14 classical ballet training, I read BEng Hons Chemical Engineering and MSc International Management in University before pursuing a career in IT Business Analysis (yep, all totally unrelated areas of studies!).
Having had artistic and analytical disciplines, I have always appreciated the hard work in fitness and wellbeing, hence naturally developed a passion in body movement, and awareness to proprioception with scientific mechanics of the human body.
At a personal life crossroad and running on an overdrive of autopilot, I decided I need to regain a bit of 'me-focus' and made the decision to completing my YTT200 with AyurYoga Institute in Spain in 2015.
I have since then also completed: AntiGravity® Fitness Instructor Certification, Level 3 Fitness Diploma (Personal Trainer / Fitness Instructor), 50 hour Graduate training with Sunday School Yoga, Ashtanga immersion weekend with Kino MacGregor, and also a Thai Yoga Massage certification.
I created YogaVix and with a recent escape from the 9-5, I strive to share my knowledge and passion to others, with a modern intelligent approach to well-being, and be a stepping stone to those who need a transformation to their fitness, mindfulness and lifestyle.
Blessed with all the opportunities, I am grateful to be teaching both in UK and internationally in classes, workshops, retreats, and also teaching with Quaternity Yoga as part of their Yoga Teacher Training (YTT200).
